Shawna Nelson, Broker
Having grown up in Southern Oregon, Shawna is very familiar with the Rogue Valley and all it has to offer. She loves the outdoor activities, going to the movies, art festivals and being with friends and family. 

For 16 years, she worked in the golf business and turned professional in the year 2000. Being a professional, she found particular value in customer service, from assisting members and guests with tee times to playing in tournaments and giving golf lessons. I graduated in 1970 with a degree in business administration from Northern Arizona University. Prior to entering real estate, I was a commercial fisherman from 1970 to 1996.

Just like so many who live here in beautiful So. Oregon, my family and I surrendered after spending many summer vacations and made the move from California. Living in Hawaii for more than a decade, Charley and his wife Lisa decided to leave island life to open their two children Jeff and Ashley up to new experiences and a greater variety of opportunities. Susan Sandberg, Broker, ABR.
My husband and I moved to Grants Pass in 1999, a year later I received my real estate license. From that point on it has been a very rewarding experience. In 2000 I had the pleasure of being a part of a great group of women who started the Rogue Valley Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors. I was given the honor of being the Vice President of Membership the first year of our chapter. I have had the honor of being the local President and am currently serving as the Oregon State Secretary for the Women’s Council of Realtors.  

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with our local schools reading with the kindergarten children. When I need to unwind from a busy day you will find me in my garden. Gardening is the best therapy for me.
